OK, this is awesome. Our friends at New Belgium Brewing and their Team Wonderbike have laid the commuting options bare with their short silent film, below.
Bike More… Drive Less:
We’ve featured New Belgium before (See: A Low-Car Beer: Tastes Great, Less Cars). In addition to encouraging employees to bike commute, the company sponsors Team Wonderbike to support cycling among their customers. Their slogan is “bike to work, work to live, live to bike.”
New Belgium, maker of Fat Tire amber ale, also runs the Tour de Fat, billed as “A Ballyhoo of Bikes and Beer.” The traveling carnival stops at 12 cities, spreading bike-centered joy while supporting local charities and advocating sustainability. One person at each tour stop receives a custom commuter bicycle and BOB trailer in exchange for foregoing car transportation for one year.
