And while I do like a car with a turbo, it is maddening to see newer cars with supposedly better tech getting worse mileage. I’ve got a ‘99 Audi A4 Avant with a 1.8l turbo engine, can get 27city/32hwy.
All that said, I am also entering into the contest to win the Saab. Would most likely sell it if I won, and then put some of the money towards some new bike gear.

But why don’t you have a crack at makers of thoroughly inefficient vehicle makers instead of companies who are trying to do more of the right thing. Turbocharging isn’t totally new, but Saab are pioneers at it and whilst others have been promoting huge guzzlers for the last 30 years, Saab have been turbocharging cars for that long.
Go look for a proper target.
And Ian, you’d keep the Saab and you know it. Stop pandering.
